I am currently uable to open any version of Photoshop. I have the latest version of Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop (5.5.0.617). Upon opening photoshop, it will freeze on startup requiring a "Force Quit".
I called Tech Support several times and after all prompts and messages, there is silence . . . and no support(?).
I even updated to the latest MAC OS, same results. ~Thnx-in-advance!

I had the same issue this morning.
It's the CC app.
5.5.0.617 is the main app version, but there are different versions of each component as well (I know confusing).
Can you check your CC app and see if
1. you are currently logged in to the correct account
2. it is not asking for an update.
We had multiple users with a forced update this morning that prevented apps from opening until they ran it.

Hey Kevin,
Still not working able to open Photoshop. All along I have been able to open Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, ect., but Photoshop will not open. I even changed my password, created a secondary email notification(per Adobe's suggestion) and still NO DICE. *?!#%

What are your Mac specs? HD space, OS specific version, Mac computer version, RAM, graphics card, etc.
