I am using Photoshop version 22.4 and Photoshop has repeatedly crashed when dragging a layer from one file into another file. I have rebooted and same result. I have a jpg opened in Photoshop, then I open an AI file that contains a logo. I am trying to drag the AI file into the file containing the jpg background. This is something I have done repeatedly over the last 20 years of my professional creative existence. Now Photoshop crashes over and over again when attempting this very basic task. I tried different background images and different logo files to test if it was a problem with a specific file. It doesn't matter it crashed with them all. I think you have a serious bug in 22.4 that needs to be fixed!
