When saving a PSD file as a JPEG or PNG file, the file size is quite large. 136mb, where it is normally around 9mb. Running latest version of Mac Big Sur on Macbook Pro. Mac and Photoshop very slow while running.

Hi there,

That doesn't sound good. Could you please let us know the width & height of the document you're working with?
Also, have you tried saving the file by going to File > Export > Save for Web (Legacy) and see if that helps?

Regards,
Sahil
