Photoshop is crashing

Photoshop crashes and completely shuts down every time I try and edit photographs. I don't know if this is related, but this problem just started yesterday after my computer did a Windows update. It doesn't matter what photograph I use. I uninstalled Photoshop and re-installed it and the problem still persists.

Any suggestions?

Can you provide more information about your system\.  What is failing is the Intel  HD Graphic device driver.  Often these days Laptops have Intel HD Graphics built into their Processors and also have a more Powerful  Graphics adapter with a GPU in their Hardware configuration.  Photoshop  has problems when machine have two different GPU enabled for use.   If this is the case there may be a utility like a Nvidia control panel that you can use to set Photoshop prefer to use the nvidia GPU not both or the Intel GPU.

If the Intel HD graphics is the only graphics you have make sure you have the latest HD device driver installed you you HD graphics model.

Try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site.
