photoshop is not showing text on menus and sometimes gives a program error

That's how it looks after opening a newly created profile of the latest version of PS as of 3/23/21 missing text.

I read about this missing fonts issue but i downloaded the fonts TAHOMA and MYRAD PRO from an adobe support page fonts.zip I think the support file was called. I didn't have MYRAD PRO on my system but installed all the files in the archive file and yet didn't help load PS correctly.
