Photoshop lags input until I lift graphics pen from tablet

Hello! So, I've been having this incredibly frustrating problem that has been hindering my productivity for months now. I just want it to be normal again.

I believe it may have started when I downloaded the Windows Creative update...

My problem is that whenever I am drawing more often than not my inputs (like drawing strokes, undo, or whatever) will lag and not input until I lift my graphics pen from my Intuos Pro tablet, THEN everything is applied. This is obviously just really freaking dumb and frustrating and I want to throw everything out of my window. I have no idea what is going on.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and seeing if I can fix it. This problem doesn't occur in other drawing programs.

This is incredibly frustrating. To me this started happening when I updated the drivers for my Wacom tablet (the recent one "WacomTablet_6.3.29-6") Maybe is just a coincidence but I don't know what to do... I've followed every single tutorial to minimize the input lag but nothing happens, and my tablet worked just fine a few weeks ago. Don't really know what happened, if it's my pc or Wacom driver. Hopefully some kind of fix will be posted online soon.

Have you tried to install an older version of the Wacom driver. It seems that the new versions of Wacom's tablet driver are buggy very often.

My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 10 Pro 22H2 -- LR-Classic 13.2 - Photoshop 25.6 - Nik Collection 6.9 - PureRAW 4 - Topaz Photo AI 2

I've checked which version I have installed on my Windows 10 machine. It's version 6.3.25-5 for an Intuos Pro tablet.

This version is working fine with the latest Photoshop version

Hello, it might be a shot in the dark, but many tablet related issues were fixed by this update: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-hardware/unexpected-panning-or-scrollin...

This is a very expensive fix: Buy a Mac and the necessary software/hardware. I did this before I retired and could afford the change. I have had no problems with software, only with my Wacom needing to be replaced because of incompatibility with recent OS change by Apple. I now check with my software/hardware companies before I upgrade the OS.

I have the exact same problem and your link is dead.

I have to lift up my pen very hight in order to get my shortcut responding, this is incredibly annoying when i want to quickly change my color or switch to the eraser...
