So when I click open Photoshop from Creative Cloud, it starts to launch but the window goes away and the app just doesnt open. Has anyone had this issue or know how to resolve it?

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop. Would you mind sharing the version of Photoshop you're using along with the version of Windows you're working on? Did you start facing the issue after the latest update? If yes, have you tried to re-install the app to check if that helps?
You can try re-installing the app & also ensure that all available Windows updates are installed on the computer. Also, try launching Photoshop by running it as administrator to check if that helps.
