Shape layer reverting to previous form - bug?

I have a shape layer that consists of more than one form. I drag a point or path to reshape the object. Later on I use transform (scale, etc) on the shape layer and suddenly the shapes all revert to their previous form. It's super weird. I did a workaround by converting the shapes to freeform editable shapes (clicking on a point and adding a bezier), and it seems to fix it, but that shouldn't be necessary no?

Could you please post screenshots with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Paths, Properties, Options Bar, …) visible?
