Sky Replacement problems in Photoshop version 22.3

I am having a problem with Sky Replacement on Photoshop version 22.3. I select the picture in Photoshop, then I select a replacement sky, then I wait and the layers occur in this order. Nothing appears to update or change the sky. I only see various new layers, but no change to my target picture. What is going wrong?

Hi there,

That doesn't sound like a typical Photoshop experience. Would you mind telling us which operating system version you're on?

• Are you using an Apple M1 chip computer?
• Did this start happening after the update?

Could you try restoring the preferences of Photoshop back to default and let us know if that helps?
