Hello, it´s happening to me on photoshop that several tools stop working from one second to another and I have to wait for them to let me use them literally. Why is that?

What are your specs?
Computer OS, Photoshop Version, HD space, Scratch disk allocation, RAM, graphics card(s), VRAM
In the meantime have you tried resetting your PS preferences in Preferences/General reset preferences upon quit?

Photoshop version 22.4.2 25GB, Mac last version of Catalina ... How do you resent your PS preferences? thanks!
Go to your Photoshop Preferences/General Window.
There is a button at the bottom to reset your preferences when you quit Photoshop.
