Tiff files not opening in Photoshop

I am having a problem with tiff files not opening in Photoshop 22.4.1. 

I get this error message. Could someone please advise how to fix this issue?

Can you provide the file? 

Are you sure the file is a tif and has not been misnamed? 

In which application did it originate? 

Can it be opened with Preview?

Yes I have the file but I prefer not to post it in public.

The file is a tif and is not misnamed and can be opened in Preview.

I have gone back to the 22.1.1 version and its working again.
