Unable to perform tasks in Photoshop 22.4.2 due to Program Error on Windows 10

I cannot open images in photoshop since the latest update, nor can i export from lightroom to photoshop, then if i try to close photoshop it wont close... all i get is failed due to program error.

running win 10x64 16gb ram. lightroom is running fine. I have uninstalled and re-installed with no change.

Can anybody help?

If the issue persists, please roll back to the previous version of Photoshop (22.3 or earlier) using the steps suggested here: https://adobe.ly/2wH0JjE

Please uninstall the latest version of Photoshop first & select the option to Keep Preferences prior to installing the previous version.
