I have a MacBook Pro (2012) and when I go to Creative Cloud and open up Photoshop the homepage for the app appears with the whole interface but it freezes and my cursor becomes the rainbow spinning wheel. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both Creative Cloud and Photoshop many times but nothing is fixing this. Please let me know what I can do. I've also tried starting Photoshop and holding shift - control - alt.

To reset preferences on Mac hold Shift+Ctrl+Opt+Cmd before the splash screen appears. It will ask you to confirm you want to reset your preferences.

If you dont get this you were too slow after launch. Try again.

Hi,

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop 22.4.1. If resetting the Preferences doesn't help, please ensure that Photoshop has the necessary permissions on the Mac using the steps suggested below:

1. Go to the System Preferences for your Mac, then Security and Privacy, then select the Privacy tab.

2. Then select Accessibility from the list to the left & check if Photoshop is added to the list with a check mark in front of it.

3. If Photoshop is not a part of the list, please add it by unlocking the window first using the lock at the bottom left, then clicking the + icon & navigating to the Applications folder.

4. Also, grant permissions to Photoshop under Full disk access located in the same list as Accessibility.

5. Once done, restart the Mac & check if it helps.

Also, please backup your settings prior to resetting the preferences. You can check: https://adobe.ly/2vNz6FG

Let us know if it helps!

Regards,

Nikunj
