I am trying to save a logo as a rotating gif but instead of saving as a moving image it keeps saving as separate images. It moves when I play it during the save for web screen so I am frustrated to why it doesnt save properly. If someone could please help it would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there,
That shouldn't be happening. Would you mind telling us which version of Photoshop are you on?
Also, what method are you using to save the gif?
Could you try going to File > Export> Save for Web and let us know if it helps?
Regards,
Sahil

I am using photoshop version 22.4.2. I did save the gif using File> Export> Save for Web. I also tried loading a preview and saving from there. However, the same thing happened.

I am Win user. What application you are using to preview animated GIF? Is that app capable to play animated GIF?
I do not see anything strange in your export from Save for Web. Can you hit Play button in Save for Web to play animation in that dialogue?

I am using the preview application that comes with the Mac to preview the GIF. That might be the problem as the gif moves when I export it to other devices.
Yes, I can play the animation in the Save for Web dialogue.

View the animated GIF in a web browser, not Apple Preview (which is showing the frames).
