Hi,

I have both PS 2020 & PS 2021 on my PC. When I click on a JPEG it always opens 2020. I want it to open in 2021.. Is there a way to get the 2020 off the PC so there is only 2021? A little confused since PS is not "really" installed on the PC.. any help? TKS!!

I'm confused by your comment "PS is not really installed on the PC". Photoshop should be installed on your PC.

Have you tried changing your application settings for the file type?

  • Find a file type that opens with the wrong app.
  • Right click on it and go to Open with > Choose the correct PS version.
  • Highlight the app you want it to open with and check "Always use this app"
  • Click "Ok"
  • The alternative is to open PS 2021 first then open your file.
