Photoshop Elements 14をインストール後、14.1のアップデートを求められますが、アップデートが失敗する

Windows10 1903バージョンにPhotoshop Elements 14をインストールしました。

インストール後、起動時に14.1へのアップデートを求められ、実行したところ

アップデート中（だいたい6.5%くらいで）にPhotoshop Elements自体が落ちてしまい

アップデートが失敗します。何か対処方法はありますでしょうか？
