2022 Photoshop Elements: How Do I clear recent files list?

I have been unable to figure out how to clear recently edited files.   Can someone help?   Windows 11 Home Edition.

Go to Edit>Preferences>Saving Files dialog and set the recent files to 0.  However, I believe the recent files list is gathered from the OS.  So, if you want to have a recent files listed in the File menu, the X number of recent files removed will return if you add a number back to the preferences.

There is probably a Registry Key that can be edited but I don't know where that might be.

I changed my recent files from 20 to 99- just to see what would happen....It changed the listing
without having to restart the editor.
