Camera raw is now an optional install?

We're going to get hundreds of posts asking why one can't open camera raw files.

Yes Jeff. 

Camera Raw and Colorize Photo are now add-ons. But it makes the installation much smaller on the hard drive, for those who don’t need to use these features.

Upon first opening of a raw file, a message pops up advising of download of ACR and will be easily missed.  But I agree with you Jeff, this was a solution looking for a problem.

I'm glad that photoshop elements 2023 is now M1 Native on the mac side.

What a difference that makes, especially in the startup time.

You are correct Jeff. Elements 2023 0n my M1 Mac Book Pro is really zippy.
