That is what is displayed on the pop-up whenever I now try to open either the Photoshop or Premier Elements 14 programs. I realize that many similar discussions/problems have already been posted, but I could not find a solution in any of the threads that remedied the problem, nor specific to my operating system.
I am using Windows 7 and have had the Elements software installed and functioning perfectly for about a year now. It has just been within the last week that I was unable to access. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the software discs (to no avail), and I did try a few other recommendations from the forum (such as gaining access by creating a new user account on my computer). That did not work either.
Since I paid for the software and very much like its diverseness, I definitely want to get it up and running again. Any suggestions from Adobe tech personnel or forum members would very appreciated. Please note that I am very much a lay-person when it comes to computers and technical jargon so please be as simple and specific as possible.
Thanks,
Mike.

Try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site.

My graphics driver is up to date and there is nothing in my update history during the last couple weeks that would indicate it being a factor. The only thing that has really changed on my computer during this time frame is that I installed some audio/video converter software.

Try uninstalling that software. There may be a conflict.

Thanks for your input, I will probably give that a try in short order and post the results. However, I did pay for the converter software...so it is not going anywhere, and I do have the Adobe Elements 14 programs installed on my backup computer. So I am not completely destitute, but I am one that prefers to have everything in proper working order (especially if I paid for it).

If uninstalling the converter software works, maybe a support ticket to the converter software company will result in a solution for you. They might be aware of the issue and have a fix.
