Adobe Elements Organizer

New Here ,
Aug 28, 2018 Aug 28, 2018

Is there anyone out there who can explain to me, in terms a non-techie can understand, how to either uninstall or disable the Adobe Elements Organizer for Elements 14?  I have absolutely no use for it. It runs when I neither ask it to, nor want it to, and it will not close no matter what I do. Task Manager is the only way to stop and close it.

Thank you,

SunBear

Are you on Mac or Windows?

If on Windows, you can't delete the organizer which is a necessary part of the software.

You just ignore it.

The first thing to know is that when you save files, you don't tick the checkbox on the bottom to include in the organizer.

Then, to be sure the organizer is not working in the background, open it, go to the menu 'Edit >> Preferences' and uncheck all options for automatic features like face recognition, backup suggestions etc.
