Hi

I have just installed PSE version 18, but when I want to download my pictures via camera connection to my PC (Windows 10) i get an error massage, stating: "cannot download plugin-modules which are necessary for collecting medias from U

units." This "kills" the standard "picture" where I can describe where to store the pictures etc, etc. So what is wrong??

I see you have already asked the same question a few days ago. I assume you are connecting your camera directly to your computer.

- Which camera?

- Would the download work if you used a very cheap card reader?

- Could you import directly from your camera to your drive using Windows without Elements?

- Do you still have an older Elements version on your computer?

I don’t know; I used as usual : USB connection in addition to a multi card

reader within the PC, with the same result

- Could you import directly from your camera using Windows without Elements?

Yes, that’s the way I did it, but it is rather clumsy

- Do you still have an older Elements version on your computer?

NO, I had PSE 15 before but it is deleted.

Before I deleted version 15, everything worked properly, with the same

camera, PC and card..
