Adobe Photoshop 13: unable to access Organizer

Community Beginner ,
May 01, 2017 May 01, 2017

I purchased the Adobe Photoshop 13 Element Software two years ago (compatible with Windows 7), and I recently purchased a new laptop (Windows 10). I have already downloaded the software on to my new laptop, and I am able to access the "Photo Editor" option, but not the "Organizer". Any suggestions, as to why it may be happening? I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the application three times.

Thanks,

Jack

Hi jackp,

Thanks for posting in Adobe forums.

Can we try the following steps:

  • Open Adobe Elements (You will see the Welcome Screen)
  • Hold “Ctrl” “Shift” “Alt” and click Adobe Organizer (Do no leave it)
  • Hold the keys until you get “Catalog Manager”
  • Optimize & repair the catalog by following this article
  • Restart Organizer after repair of catalog & test it.

Hope this works

Thanks

Regards

Dhananjay

Dhananjay,

Thank you for your assistance. Unfortunately, the advice you provided was not able to resolve the issue. I also visited the link you attached, but whenever I tried to Optimize the Catalog Manager, I received a message saying that the program had an error, and had to close down.

Any other ideas?

Thanks,

Jack

Hi jackp,

Thanks for posting in Adobe forums.

Please follow the same steps but this time create a new catalog & import pictures into it. Restart Adobe Organizer & test it.

Regards

Dhananjay
