Adobe only supports the newest version, and one version back---- that means you won't be seeing any updates for pse 2020.  The updates choice for you will remain greyed out.

Sometimes it helps to turn your computer all the way off, wait a minute or two, then turn it back on---pse 2020 does take longer to load than pse 2021, or pse 2022.
