Hi , I just bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022 and I am having a problem with it on my new Windows 11 PC.
Most of my photographs are from my iPhone and are in the HEIC format. And The Organiser software is telling me that it can't read these files. It tells me that I need to install the HEIF Image Extension for Windows 10
However I have already installed the HEIF Image Extension and HEVC Video Extension for Windows 11 installed.
Is this a know issue or is there any workaround / fix.
Thanks

I have the same problem. Sometimes it works sometimes Organizer crashes.
I dont think Adobe have tested propoerly on Windows 11.

Thank you! I was afraid this was the case. I'll wait (again) to buy a version of Elements that actually supports these formats.

Hi Colin,
Thank you for reaching out on the Adobe Forums. Could you please share a screenshot of what happens when you try to import HEIC files into your EO Catalog on a Win 11 machine?
Regards,
Aaron

This still doesn't work. I've tried restarting adobe, clearing the cache, and reinstalling all of the programs. Windows Photos opens the files without issue. Adobe redirects me to the installation page instructions that don't work. Hard to imagine being more frustrated with this purchase at this point.
