Hi all, I am on a MacOS running adobe photoshop elements 2026. Recently , all the files in my catalog are missing their names. I have tried to holding down the shift when launching photoshop elements organizer to 'repair' the catalog. I have access to an optimize button but there is no repair button. I also tried launching organizer, file manage catalogs and also tried restore catalogs. Nothing appears to work. I also see that there is an updatem
It does not seem to be installed.
Does anyone have suggestions?
Thanks
Dan

Eager, could you post a screenshot while I research?
[it looks to me that you've tried repair. Did you find this help on Adobe.com?]
If filenames are missing in your Photoshop Elements catalog, it usually indicates that files have been moved, renamed, or deleted outside the Elements Organizer, causing the catalog to lose track of them. To fix this, reconnect the missing files to update the catalog with their current locations:
If the catalog is damaged or you encounter errors, use the Repair function in the Catalog Manager:
Ensure your user account has sufficient permissions to read and write files in the catalog folder by checking the catalog location under Help > System Info.
These steps help restore the catalog's connection to your files and fix missing filename issues. For detailed troubleshooting, see the Elements Organizer troubleshooting guide and Photoshop Elements catalog backup and repair.

Sit and wait on the update- it will be pushed out to you sometime-- not everyone gets it at the same time.

Hi Dan,
Can you please share a screenshot of the catalog? That will help us understand if the files are missing or File Details are turned off.
Also, have you installed the update?
Thanks
