I have installed, reinstalled, uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Photoshop Elements 15. Using Windows 10 Pro I keep getting the message "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly, Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available" I have tried all the suggestions in the troubleshooting suggestions section except for loading it on another drive.... don't have one. I have more than the minimum requirements, and Adobe says there is no phone help for this product. Did I just waste $80?

Hi John,
Can you please try the troubleshooting steps mentioned here- Error: Editor has stopped working in Adobe Photoshop Elements
The crash might be due to Web Companion App installed with LavasoftTCP Service.
Thanks

PLEASE CAN SOMEONE BE IN TOUCH WITH ME ..... I have elements 15 and it also stops working ... in my error file it does not mention the web companion being the problem.

Hi Carmen,
This seems like a Windows App Store PSE version? Can you please confirm? Is Organizer launching fine on the same machine?
Also, does the current logged in user have admin privileges?
Thanks

If I may please interject something here....I'm experiencing the EXACT SAME issue. I ordered my Elements over the phone and used the link they provided for the download. I don't use Organizer...have NO IDEA how to test or load it...I see no "exe" file in it's folder except DVD burner. I tried downloading and installing about 6 weeks ago...had same problem...tried AGAIN yesterday, you've already charged my credit card for the purchase, now I have a worthless program. Elements 8 and 14 worked FINE for me...14 still runs (thankfully)...but there has to be a solution. I do NOT have WEB COMPANION installed.
THANKS for any help you can offer...

Yes it was downloaded / bought off the Windows App store... I was under the impression it was the proper programme file. As far as I am aware I am logged in with all the admin privileges. Perhaps I have not got a correct setting somewhere?
Does this mean the purchase is not a proper programmable file?

Sorry, yes Organizer is also launching. The programme works fine with photos and editing these for now.. The only time it crashes at the moment is when I am running a new file and keep inserting pictures and moving them around in order to create a small type advert / file.

Hi Carmen,
Thanks for confirming. So, it seems like the Editor and Organizer both are launching and you're seeing intermittent crashes when using Editor? Please correct me if wrong. We'll need to get crash dump from your machine, when Editor crashes. I'll shortly share the steps for getting those, over an email.
Thanks
Andaleeb
