I found a recommendation from @piyushc76752533 in this thread entitled: Photo editor won't open in Photoshop Elements 2019.

Though we end up reinstalling it,
I was able to use Photoshop Elements 2020 by uninstalling and reinstalling it through LWS. The licensing screen came up and was able to sign in and activate the software.

Appreciate your insights @NidhiSachdeva .

Cheers,

Hi,

Is Organizer loading for you? If you are seeing this problem with PSE only, it could be due to licensing screen.

It may be hidden by the main window.  Command-tab to see if the licensing screen comes up.

You have to sign in to your account to use the program. And as there is no licensing screen for the Organizer that will open.

Hope this helps.

If you still face issue, please let us know.

Regards,

Nidhi

Hello Nidhi,

I've encountered a similar problem. I use a PSE trial version which I installed a week ago.

The program doesn't load. It stalls on "initilizing" message on the PSE screen.

I have a Dell Inspiron with a dedicated video card of 2 GB, 8 GB internal memory, and enough SSD disk space to run the PSE.

Can you, please, provide a hint how I can resolve this problem?
