I want to add the year, in the lower right corner, onto 300+ pictures that I have in a folder. I would like to find a way to do this to a lot at once. Trying to cut corners! Is there a way that I can do this?

In the photoshop elements editor under File>Process Multiple Files there is a Labels>Caption setting which can put the Date Modified on the photo.

Wow! That worked! Can I make it bigger than 72 and bolder? I want to put the year in the corner in red.

It's weird, some of the pictures look like the year is bigger than others. Any ideas?

Most likely the resolution of the picture files is not uniform.

The batch process feature is limited to 72pt.
The most versatile method would be to make a brush with the information which you wish to place on each file.
This will allow you to change the font size, color, and position as desired. The down side is that it is not a batch process.
