I recently installed PSE 24 and the bottom toolbar has a white portion (which shows fine) and a much larger black portion that extends across the remainder of the screen. I cannot see any tools or photos loaded in this black portion, but if I hover my mouse, it shows things are there and I can click on them (I just can't see it). I have tried rebooting and even reinstalling with no luck in order to get this black bar removed. Any ideas?

Do what the arrow is pointing to.
You are also missing some stuff at the very top of your screen. That makes think it's one of two things: Your video driver is not current. Your wide monitor is mucking things up DO THE REST PREFERENCES FIRST.

You are using an ultra-wide monitor that Elements cannot handle. Reduce the size of the Elements window and relaunch the program. The proper user interface should then show up.

I wasn't sure about the extra wide monitor.

I reset the system scaling back to 150%, relaunched again, and now it seems to be working! Thank you!
