Long, long time Elements user here. Currently have PSE 12 installed on Windows 7. It had previously lived on a MacBook Pro, where I uninstalled it prior to the sale of the Mac laptop. I then installed/re-registered it, pretty much effortlessly, on the Windows desktop.
Still using the Windows desktop which still has PSE 12 on it. Newest addition is a retina MacBook Pro, running macOS Sierra (10.12).
What I would like to know, using the disc version of PSE 2018, is if it is permissible within Adobe licensing to install PSE 2018 on both the Windows and Mac. The two platforms are never simultaneously logged on to with my admin passwords, and I'm familiar enough with PSE to know that even if the two OS *were* active at the same time that PSE should not be opened on both.
Yes no problem. If you have the boxed version with both disks; the product is multi-platform. Download purchases are usually single platform.
But if you don’t have a disk drive; you can use the Adobe download links and validate the installation with the serial number from inside your box packaging.

I appreciate the prompt, pertinent and positive reply, 99jon.
You must also be familiar with recent Mac portables to know they no longer come with optical drives. Tell the truth I hadn't considered the online download option as I've had a portable DVD writer in my Amazon cart ever since purchasing the Mac laptop. The Windows 7 desktop already has one, so no problem there.
When the time comes to finally pull the trigger I think I'll take the Mac to the local library for what's sure to be a hefty file size download.
thanks again!!
