I thought I read once that in preferences (or somewhere) that one could adjust their settings for how 'Smart Fix' fixes a photo? I use Elements 15. My PC is running on Windows 10.
Here is what I am doing. I am working from the Organizer. I see a pic I want to edit. I selected the pic. Then I click on 'Instant Fix'. Then I go to 'Smart Fix'. It is almost always the same thing. After I click the 'Smart Fix' button, my picture will be way too BRIGHT. I usually have to bring the Clarity down a full measure. And bring the darkness up about 1.5 'panels'. And finally take the color back about 1.5 panels.
It would be so nice if I could somehow tweak how Smart Fix 'fixes'. If I could make the corrections above automatically via a more effective Smart Fix -- then I imagine I would be spending about half as much time when I do my edits.
Thank you,
Dean

Hi Dean,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Smart Fix in Organizer is a one click fix which automatically tries to apply the best of all adjustments to your image.
While you can not tweak the Smart Fix settings in Organizer but you can definitely edit this image further in Editor carrying forward these changes from Organizer by clicking on the Editor button at bottom panel.
Please see Fixing photos in Elements Organizer for more information.
Thanks
