Can metadata details be edited using any search criteria?

When I click on "Album" or search by "Keyword," Elements 2025 finds the photos but doesn't let me click on them and make updates to things like date, or keywords.  Is there a way to do this?  I don't want to have to keep scrolling through 20,000 pictures to find the one I want to update tags, date, etc.

Thanks for your help!.

If I understand your problem correctly, this is an issue that I also find very annoying.  When you use the Search box to find a set of images, the results will appear in a grid.  But, as you describe, there is nothing you can do with the search results until you click the Back to grid button:

This control will take you back to the media grid which will display only your search results.  You can then tag or edit the metadata etc.
