Can not transfer photos from cd to photoshop

I have a master cd made from my slides.  When I try to transfer to photoshop 18 from the master cd, I get the message:  "Media files were skipped because they are either already present in the catalog or are not supported."  How do I get them to transfer so I may upload for having a dvd made?

It sounds like you have previously imported the files from your master CD to the Organizer catalog.  Normally, when you do this, the files are copied to your hard drive.  If you are trying to import again, the message is telling you that the files already exist in the catalog and because they are duplicates to what is already there, these files are being skipped.

If this is not the case, please explain what you are trying to do in more detail.
