Can Organizer catalog point to multiple hard drives?

The harddrive on my laptop is not big enough to hold all my video and photos. I have a lot of stuff that I want on an external drive and only want to keep my current video and photos on my laptop drive. Can I store the catalog on my laptop and have some files local and others external?

Yes, sure.

- You can choose to store your media files on any available drive, internal or external.

- You can set your downloading preferences to download in your preferred drive

- you can choose to download a batch of files in a custom chosen drive ignoring your default preference

- You can move all or a part of your image files folder tree from the folders panel on the left by drag and drop.

The catalog is stored by default on your main drive, but can be copied or moved elsewhere from your Explorer/Finder.

A common process to move at the same time the catalog and the photo files folders to a new drive or computer:

Move Elements Organizer catalog
