Can't create new folder in Organizer

When I try to create a new folder in Organizer, I get an error message that "Analysis is currently running on selected media." I tried closing and restarting Organizer and restarting the computer. Didn't make a difference.

Open your Organizer.

EDIT>PREFERENCES

Uncheck all the media analysis stuff.
I don't use it or rely upon the media analysis- that is why I uncheck all of it.

Glenn, I unchecked everything under Preferences>Media Analysis. Also deleted cache while I was there.. Didn't make any difference. I did describe the problem inaccuratelly. I can create a new folder, but then I can't rename it from New Folder.

Can you be more specific about what you are trying to do and what happens when you attempt to do it.  Are you running into the issue of the new folder not showing up in the My Folders panel after you create it?  If so, see my post here.

I had so many other problems after my post, I forgort all about it. When I opened Organizer just now, the folder I thought I wasn't able to rename showed up. Either that's not the folder or that problem solved itself. Sorry I didn't follow up on my post earlier.
