can't find photos in bin

Hello,
I am using PSE 2023 and can't find the photos in my photo bin when I save a file as a PSD. I can get them to appear if I open them as seperate layers but how can I get them to remain in the photo bin every time I close and reopen the file? thank you

short answer: you don't. The photo bin shows open files.  You can save all the photos / graphics in the photobin as their own album if you want to.   Let me know if you that explained to you.

This is a screenshot from pse 2023.  It's the same for about the past 7 or 8 versions.
