Can't tag Places like Bethlehem, Jericho, Nazareth in Palestine/Westbank (PSE12)

Though I can tag places in Israel, I cannot tag places/cities in Palestine/Westbank. The cities appear in the Google map and I can select them, but no place tag appears in PSE for them. How can I tag Bethlehem, Jericho, and Nazareth? Can I tag w/o using the Google map?

Try dragging and dropping images on to the map - see image below. If you enlarge the map you should be able to position near to the centre of town. Once you have photos on the map you can add a cutom location name using the toolbar at the bottom.

Ah, thanks for your quick reply! Yet, how can I drag a Picture there? The Map (left) has the focus and thus I cannot pick a picture from the catalog (right).

Try selecting first in the Organizer media tab and then go to the places tab.

But you should be able to select and drag from unpinned photos.

Thanks, I can place the photos now on the map. But after completion there is no Place marker at the photo in the Organizer, nor the place is added to Tags sidebar. But a previously added tag palestine is now removed from the photo.

The problem exists for places/cities in Palestine/Westbank. I can tag Haifa, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem...

Sorry I don’t know. The only other suggestion is to use ordinary keywords.
