Cannot Open Recently Installed Elements 2020

I recently purchased a new computer and treated myself  to the 2020 Elements/Premiere Elements bundle upgrade instead of transferring the old 2014 versions. I have license serial number for both programs and the video editor is working fine but today I turned my attention to Elements to do some still editing and I can't get Elements Photo Editor to open. When I click the icon I only get two choices. Either "Install from DVD" or "Download Trial".

I am probably missing something but I've tried several approaches before asking for help here and I am still stuck.

What am I missing?

Thanks all!

There must be a simple solution. Maybe you only complete the installation of Premiere Elements?

You could use the trial download and after installation is completed licence with your serial number commencing 1057 (24 numbers, no letters)

See if my blog article helps.

Sorry for the unnecessary post.
