I downloaded Photoshop Elements 2018 from the Mac App Store, comes with PSE16 (That part seems inconsistent, but I realize version is different than year released). I have a Canon Pixma Pro 100, and they have a driver called Print Studio Pro which I would love to use. It says it has work with all the past PSE releases, but for some reason this one is not compatible? There doesn't seem to be a plugins folder for me to drag the plugin into, and it's not doing it automatically. The option in PSE for 'automation tools' is greyed out. Should I just wait on some update or is there otherwise a workaround? Thanks much!

Have you seen this post? It might be the printer driver.

Turns out my problem was related to the print driver for my Canon PIXMA Pro 100. When I got my new laptop the computer found my canon printer and I was able to print but didn’t find the full functionality. After multipole emails with canon we found that the printer was installed with the wrong print driver. Even though the software reported it
was correct. I was finally able to install the correct driver the problem was solved.

Thanks, Darrin, but I am using the correct and latest driver for the printer... version 16.20.0.0 and running macOS 10.13.2. I read somewhere (can't find it now) that PSE16 (PSE 2018) is NOT compatible yet.
