Every time I try to do either a full backup or an incremental backup with Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019, I receive the error that there was a problem writing the file.  Any thoughts on how to resolve this ! issue?

Hi,

It seems that you don't have permission at the location where you are trying to save backup. Are you using 'C:\' as your destination location for saving backup? Generally users are not allowed to write anything on root of C:\ drive. You can verify this by trying to paste an image at root C:\ drive.

If this is the case, please create a folder at any location (including root of C:\ eg C:\Backup) and try to take a back there.

If above is not the case with you, can you please answer following queries:

- What is your destination? Is it external HDD/network drive/NAS drive/Mapped drive?

- Can you please check if you have the required 'read/write' permission of the folder?

Please let me know if there are any queries.

Thanks!
