Catalog conversion problem

Mac running Catalina. I'm attempting to convert elements 10 catalog to 2022. Full backup on removable hardrive. Whem I point to catalog in Catalog Manager it will not open.

You need to restore the catalog in order to convert it.  If you restore the backup in Elements 2022, it will automatically be converted.  If that is not the issue, please give more details of what you are doing and what, if any, error messages you are getting.
