Change item color to white, grey or black

How can I change a person's clothing color from red to white. I watched a YouTube video and it shows only rainbow colors.

You could try using the gradient map which allows you to change any color including black, white and grey. I have a YouTube Video which demonstrates how this works.

1. Open the picture file

2. Use the magnetic lasso or the lasso tool to select the item of clothing

3. Set your foreground color chip to the replacement color

4. Go to Edit menu>Fill selection>Foreground color

5. Press CTRL+D to get rid of the selection outline.
