Changes in Liquify

New Here ,
Apr 13, 2017 Apr 13, 2017

A couple of days ago I opened my liquify tool in Elements and something just isn't the same. To my knowledge I have not by accident changed any settings.

Previously, for example, I would open liquify and immediately it worked click after click, took me mere seconds to fix what I needed on my images. I would click, drag, release and boom it was fixed.

Now however, it appears to be opening in the same manner but when I click to drag something (I photograph a lot of newborns so lets say the cheek is squished and I want to round it out) wherever I click it appears the mouse is "stuck" takes seconds to function and then without my finger being pressed on my mouse it will pull in and out stuck and will not release until I again click the mouse. It's not smooth its botchy and uneven. I have NO idea what has happened but I need it fixed as quickly as possible.

Everything else in my Elements is working the same and quickly/efficiently.

Also, I will say my computer had an update so I thought maybe just maybe it was because I needed to update so I did. The problem is still occurring. I have restarted my computer, I have cleared the cache and there is more than plenty of room on my computer. It is not for being too full.

Does anyone have any suggestions what might be happening? Or how to fix it?

Suggest that you reset preferences to default, as that may fix it.

Go to Edit>Preferences>General

Thank you for reply.

I tried this already as an option and it did not fix the problem.

Thank you for trying.
