Choosing enhance colour or lighting always selects the colour picker.

I updated Elements 2018 this morning and since then whenever I try to use enhance the colour picker is automatically selected and I can't change it. If I choose a new adjustment layer this doesn't happen. I have closed the program and restarted, opened the image files through the organiser and rebooted my iMac but have been unable to change this behaviour. Suggestions please.

See if resetting the 2018 preferences fixes it.

Go to Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor>Preferences>General, click on Reset Preferences on next launch and restart the pse 2018 editor.

Thanks for the suggestion Jeff. I tried that but no joy. Not a big problem , just annoying.

What version of mac os are you using?

Sorry for the late response. High Sierra 10.13.3. have still not solved the problem. Have even uninstalled/reinstalled elements.
