Has anyone else been forced into upgrading to a newer version of Photoshop Elements because Adobe could not purge previous activations for older perpetual licensed products. I feel this is a tactic used to back their customers into a corner and force them into purchasing new products vs supporting the continued use of products already purchased. From my perspective this could also be a violation of California CCPA and GDPR Personally Identifiable Information rights, as the activation information also has ties to Customer, Company, Devices being used (including Type, OS version, serial number, etc).
I am speaking with a Lawyer about this and wanted to see if this is potentially a class action lawsuit and get other people that were forced into buying new products.

No one forced you to purchase newer software- that is 100% on you. Documentation on how to uninstall and deathorize a computer for a removal has been documented for years- appearently you did not read any of that.

Well to be honest, it is very difficult to have the foresight to know that my logic board was going to fail on a MacBook Pro, and that I needed to be prepared to uninstall an application to be able to reinstall said application on my new system after replacing the failed computer. If you have recommendations on good crystal ball retailers I will be more than happy to accommodate the rediculous end user deauthorizing practice going forward.
