Clone tool

I have not had to use this forum in years. I have a very unusual problem that just started. When I use the clone tool in PE14 the shape has changed to a very unusual size and shape. it's shape resembles the map of the U.S. When I use the clone took it moves the photo around. I re-installed but let the original installation and maybe I should delete and try again. Your thoughts? Something must be corrupted! I need to update my e-mail address so I'll check back!

On the clone stamp tool's option bar, look for a box with lines in it on the right. Click on this to reset the tool.

If that does not fix it, reset preferences to default. To do that, go to Edit>Preferences>General and look for this:
