My color swatches look funny - why? 

I use Photoshop Elements 2022 on Mac (Sonom 14.1)

PSE 2022 + Sonoma= You're basically screwed.   Lots of issues with that combo.  You can pretty much stop trying to fix it. 

You will need this:  https://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-elements/free-trial.html

Lots of differences from 2022 and 2024.  DON'T UNINSTALL PSE 2022 UNTIL YOU GET YOUR CATALOGUES SET UP IN PSE 2024.
