PSE 2018.
I discovered there are a large number of tags in the Keyword section that also exist in other sections - like Events.
The tags are not connected to the same set of images.
Any way to 'combine' them and end up with just having the tag in Events?
My current workflow is:
Thanks for any help or advice.
Not sure how I got all of those tags in Keywords. There are certainly a large number that I haven't worked with in years.

My current workflow is:
- Click on tag in Keyword section
- Select all those images
- Scroll down to Events and find the same tag
- Apply to Selected Media
- Return to Keyword section and deselect tag
- Right click on the tag and Delete
Thanks for any help or advice.

Please first take a look at the help file:
Elements Organizer Help | Elements Organizer User Guide
Several ways to do that:
- Edit >> Find >> by detail = create a multicriteria search Finding media files by content, type, and metadata in Elements Organizer
- search button on top right : create a search with 'AND' to combine criteria 'Enhanced search'.

Thanks, MichelBParis,
I believe what is being suggested is a way to 'find' all of the media regardless of if the tag is in Keyword or Events.
After all of the media has been located then I would still follow my original workflow to correct the problem?
Basically, assigning the correct tag to all of that media.
Then deleting the tag from Keyword?

Yes.
That also works for correcting misspelled tags and merging them with the correct spelling one.

OK, thanks.
I've been working my way through my list.
So I'll get this fixed up.
I realize this is off-topic, etc. : I use PSE 99% of the time for organizing and tagging my photos.
And 1% for editing them. Should I consider something like Lightroom?
Thanks for any thoughts.

Lighroom is at the same time:
- an organizer based on catalogs like the Organizer in Elements. More powerful and customizable.
- a non-destructive parametric file editor (not a pixel editor)
- a raw file converter like the ACR module with more features.
There would be a steep learning curve.
