The only other option is to check if PSE is listed under Security & Privacy settings in System Preferences.

Try trashing the prefs which is usually necessary after updating Mac OS.

Quit Elements

Launch Finder and go to your Username >>Library >> Preferences

Send the following files/folders to the trash:

com.adobe.PhotoshopElements.plist

Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 Paths

Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 Settings.

The library is hidden in recent versions of OSX. To get to your user library quickly, from the top menu in Finder, click “Go” whilst holding down the Option (Alt) key and your user Library will appear for you to choose.

After deleting the above, try launching Elements again. Let us know if that works.

Hello,

as I have the same problem, i just tried your meyhode, without success

in fact, I did not definitely throw the files into the trash by emptying it, but I put them in a folder on the desk, if I ever needed them later.

do you think that comes from there?

thanks

Sophie (from France)

I tried deleting files but it didn't help.

What 99jon mentioned above is working for me at this time.

Here's his suggestion (see article for specifics :

The only other option is to check if PSE is listed under Security & Privacy settings in System Preferences.

https://www.macworld.co.uk/how-to/mac-software/open-apps-wont-work-mojave-photoshop-368442 5/

added note (As shown in article photo: System Preferences/Security & Privacy/Privacy/Accessibility ... "check" app name that crashed)
