Is the file into which you are pasting in RGB color mode or Grayscale?  If it is Grayscale, you can change it to color under the Image>Mode menu:

I will keep in mind what you said. For now my photoshop is working okay. Thanks for your help. I think I know how to check the CPU driver. Good suggestion and thanks.

@minuardj47694956, Glenn was not asking about video.  He is talking about the driver (software) for your video card which is also known as a Graphics Card or GPU (Graphics Processing Unit).

I have a game ready driver to download for my video card,  I always download and install them- never have had an issue.
